Highlights of the Holy Trinity School Kindergarten Curriculum:

Religion – The students learn that God gives them many gifts.  As they grow in God’s family they explore Noah’s Ark, Advent, Christmas, and the other celebrations and seasons of the year.  

Language Arts – The students learn to print and recognize upper and lower case letters, respond to literature, read simple books, and form sentences. Link to Literacy Center for practicing letters and number recognition.

Math – The students keep busy sorting, classifying, counting, measuring, and learning about time and money

Social Studies – Grandparents Day is the highlight of the first quarter.   The students learn about their community and people near and far.  The significance of Martin Luther King Day and Earth Day are explored.,

Science –  The 5 senses, natural resources, and animals are a few of the science themes of the kindergarten curriculum. Play the Kids Astronomy Game

Japanese - Basic Japanese greetings, songs, and culture

Art –Colors, lines, planting rubbings, and butterflies are examples of the fun art projects completed by the kindergarteners

PE – Listeng games, stretches, warm ups, tag, bean bagplay, hula hoop, and parachute play are highlights of the PE program

Computer – The students explore the alphabet, sight words, and math games while learning basic computer literacy and skill
